Sahih Int'l: When the Occurrence occurs,
Sahih Int'l: There is, at its occurrence, no denial.
Sahih Int'l: It will bring down [some] and raise up [others].
Sahih Int'l: When the earth is shaken with convulsion
Sahih Int'l: And the mountains are broken down, crumbling
Sahih Int'l: And become dust dispersing.
Sahih Int'l: And you become [of] three kinds:
Sahih Int'l: Then the companions of the right – what are the companions of the right?
Sahih Int'l: And the companions of the left – what are the companions of the left?
Sahih Int'l: And the forerunners, the forerunners –
Sahih Int'l: Those are the ones brought near [to Allah]
Sahih Int'l: In the Gardens of Pleasure,
Sahih Int'l: A [large] company of the former peoples
Sahih Int'l: And a few of the later peoples,
Sahih Int'l: On thrones woven [with ornament],
Sahih Int'l: Reclining on them, facing each other.
Sahih Int'l: There will circulate among them young boys made eternal
Sahih Int'l: With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring –
Sahih Int'l: No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated –
Sahih Int'l: And fruit of what they select
Sahih Int'l: And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire.
Sahih Int'l: And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes,
Sahih Int'l: The likenesses of pearls well-protected,
Sahih Int'l: As reward for what they used to do.
Sahih Int'l: They will not hear therein ill speech or commission of sin –
Sahih Int'l: Only a saying: "Peace, peace."
Sahih Int'l: The companions of the right – what are the companions of the right?
Sahih Int'l: [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed
Sahih Int'l: And [banana] trees layered [with fruit]
Sahih Int'l: And shade extended
Sahih Int'l: And water poured out
Sahih Int'l: And fruit, abundant [and varied],
Sahih Int'l: Neither limited [to season] nor forbidden,
Sahih Int'l: And [upon] beds raised high.
Sahih Int'l: Indeed, We have produced the women of Paradise in a [new] creation
Sahih Int'l: And made them virgins,
Sahih Int'l: Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age,
Sahih Int'l: For the companions of the right [who are]
Sahih Int'l: A company of the former peoples
Sahih Int'l: And a company of the later peoples.
Sahih Int'l: And the companions of the left – what are the companions of the left?
Sahih Int'l: [They will be] in scorching fire and scalding water
Sahih Int'l: And a shade of black smoke,
Sahih Int'l: Neither cool nor beneficial.
Sahih Int'l: Indeed they were, before that, indulging in affluence,
Sahih Int'l: And they used to persist in the great violation,
Sahih Int'l: And they used to say, "When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?
Sahih Int'l: And our forefathers [as well]?"
Sahih Int'l: Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, the former and the later peoples
Sahih Int'l: Are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known Day."
Sahih Int'l: Then indeed you, O those astray [who are] deniers,
Sahih Int'l: Will be eating from trees of zaqqūm
Sahih Int'l: And filling with it your bellies
Sahih Int'l: And drinking on top of it from scalding water
Sahih Int'l: And will drink as the drinking of thirsty camels.
Sahih Int'l: That is their accommodation on the Day of Recompense.
Sahih Int'l: We have created you, so why do you not believe?
Sahih Int'l: Have you seen that which you emit?
Sahih Int'l: Is it you who creates it, or are We the Creator?
Sahih Int'l: We have decreed death among you, and We are not to be outdone
Sahih Int'l: In that We will change your likenesses and produce you in that [form] which you do not know.
Sahih Int'l: And you have already known the first creation, so will you not remember?
Sahih Int'l: And have you seen that [seed] which you sow?
Sahih Int'l: Is it you who makes it grow, or are We the grower?
Sahih Int'l: If We willed, We could make it [dry] debris, and you would remain in wonder,
Sahih Int'l: [Saying], "Indeed, we are [now] in debt;
Sahih Int'l: Rather, we have been deprived."
Sahih Int'l: And have you seen the water that you drink?
Sahih Int'l: Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down?
Sahih Int'l: If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful?
Sahih Int'l: And have you seen the fire that you ignite?
Sahih Int'l: Is it you who produced its tree, or are We the producer?
Sahih Int'l: We have made it a reminder and provision for the travelers,
Sahih Int'l: So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.
Sahih Int'l: Then I swear by the setting of the stars,
Sahih Int'l: And indeed, it is an oath – if you could know – [most] great.
Sahih Int'l: Indeed, it is a noble Qur’an
Sahih Int'l: In a Register well-protected;
Sahih Int'l: None touch it except the purified.
Sahih Int'l: [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
Sahih Int'l: Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent
Sahih Int'l: And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]?
Sahih Int'l: Then why, when the soul at death reaches the throat
Sahih Int'l: And you are at that time looking on –
Sahih Int'l: And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see –
Sahih Int'l: Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed,
Sahih Int'l: Bring it back, if you should be truthful?
Sahih Int'l: And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah,
Sahih Int'l: Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure.
Sahih Int'l: And if he was of the companions of the right,
Sahih Int'l: Then [the angels will say], "Peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right."
Sahih Int'l: But if he was of the deniers [who were] astray,
Sahih Int'l: Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water
Sahih Int'l: And burning in Hellfire
Sahih Int'l: Indeed, this is the true certainty,
Sahih Int'l: So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.
