Sahih Int'l: I swear by the Day of Resurrection
Sahih Int'l: And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection].
Sahih Int'l: Does man think that We will not assemble his bones?
Sahih Int'l: Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips.
Sahih Int'l: But man desires to continue in sin.
Sahih Int'l: He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection?"
Sahih Int'l: So when vision is dazzled
Sahih Int'l: And the moon darkens
Sahih Int'l: And the sun and the moon are joined,
Sahih Int'l: Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?"
Sahih Int'l: No! There is no refuge.
Sahih Int'l: To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence.
Sahih Int'l: Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back.
Sahih Int'l: Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness,
Sahih Int'l: Even if he presents his excuses.
Sahih Int'l: Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur’an.
Sahih Int'l: Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation.
Sahih Int'l: So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation.
Sahih Int'l: Then upon Us is its clarification [to you].
Sahih Int'l: No! But you love the immediate
Sahih Int'l: And leave the Hereafter.
Sahih Int'l: [Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant,
Sahih Int'l: Looking at their Lord.
Sahih Int'l: And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted,
Sahih Int'l: Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking.
Sahih Int'l: No! When the soul has reached the collar bones
Sahih Int'l: And it is said, "Who will cure [him]?"
Sahih Int'l: And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation
Sahih Int'l: And the leg is wound about the leg,
Sahih Int'l: To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession.
Sahih Int'l: And the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed.
Sahih Int'l: But [instead], he denied and turned away.
Sahih Int'l: And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride].
Sahih Int'l: Woe to you, and woe!
Sahih Int'l: Then woe to you, and woe!
Sahih Int'l: Does man think that he will be left neglected?
Sahih Int'l: Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted?
Sahih Int'l: Then he was a clinging clot, and [Allah] created [his form] and proportioned [him]
Sahih Int'l: And made of him two mates, the male and the female.
Sahih Int'l: Is not that [Creator] Able to give life to the dead?
