Sahih Int'l: The Prophet frowned and turned away

080.002

Sahih Int'l: Because there came to him the blind man, [interrupting].

080.003

Sahih Int'l: But what would make you perceive, [O Muhammad], that perhaps he might be purified

080.004

Sahih Int'l: Or be reminded and the remembrance would benefit him?

080.005

Sahih Int'l: As for he who thinks himself without need,

080.006

Sahih Int'l: To him you give attention.

080.007

Sahih Int'l: And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified.

080.008

Sahih Int'l: But as for he who came to you striving [for knowledge]

080.009

Sahih Int'l: While he fears [Allah],

080.010

Sahih Int'l: From him you are distracted.

080.011

Sahih Int'l: No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder;

080.012

Sahih Int'l: So whoever wills may remember it.

080.013

Sahih Int'l: [It is recorded] in honored sheets,

080.014

Sahih Int'l: Exalted and purified,

080.015

Sahih Int'l: [Carried] by the hands of messenger-angels,

080.016

Sahih Int'l: Noble and dutiful.

080.017

Sahih Int'l: Cursed is man; how disbelieving is he.

080.018

Sahih Int'l: From what substance did He create him?

080.019

Sahih Int'l: From a sperm-drop He created him and destined for him;

080.020

Sahih Int'l: Then He eased the way for him;

080.021

Sahih Int'l: Then He causes his death and provides a grave for him.

080.022

Sahih Int'l: Then when He wills, He will resurrect him.

080.023

Sahih Int'l: No! Man has not yet accomplished what He commanded him.

080.024

Sahih Int'l: Then let mankind look at his food –

080.025

Sahih Int'l: How We poured down water in torrents,

080.026

Sahih Int'l: Then We broke open the earth, splitting [it with sprouts],

080.027

Sahih Int'l: And caused to grow within it grain

080.028

Sahih Int'l: And grapes and herbage

080.029

Sahih Int'l: And olive and palm trees

080.030

Sahih Int'l: And gardens of dense shrubbery

080.031

Sahih Int'l: And fruit and grass –

080.032

Sahih Int'l: [As] enjoyment for you and your grazing livestock.

080.033

Sahih Int'l: But when there comes the Deafening Blast

080.034

Sahih Int'l: On the Day a man will flee from his brother

080.035

Sahih Int'l: And his mother and his father

080.036

Sahih Int'l: And his wife and his children,

080.037

Sahih Int'l: For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him.

080.038

Sahih Int'l: [Some] faces, that Day, will be bright –

080.039

Sahih Int'l: Laughing, rejoicing at good news.

080.040

Sahih Int'l: And [other] faces, that Day, will have upon them dust.

080.041

Sahih Int'l: Blackness will cover them.

080.042

Sahih Int'l: Those are the disbelievers, the wicked ones.
